The Wilmaplex Ezistep H3 Stringers are crafted for easy assembly, including two timber sides (stringers) and 18 stainless decking screws. Steps are not included, and three treads must be purchased separately. The grooved treads comply with Australian Building Code 3.9.1.4 for slip resistance, ensuring safety. Made from H3, LOSP treated pine, these stringers are suitable for above-ground outdoor use. Variations in colour and texture may occur due to the natural properties of timber. It is essential to use an oil-based paint with primer to prevent sap leakage and to dry the timber for approximately two weeks before painting. The recommended tread dimensions are 240mm deep and 45mm thick, with widths available in 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, and 1800mm. For treads wider than 1000mm, a centre brace is advised for additional support. Please verify the deck to ground height of 640mm and distance from the deck of 805mm before purchase.
