What is Sodium Citrate?
Sodium citrate may is a sodium salt of citric acid occurring naturally in many citric fruits. It has a sour salty taste when added to foods.It is commonly used as an acidity regulator in food and drinks, as an emulsifier for oils, and as a laundry product builder.
Common names: Trisodium Citrate, Trisodium salt, Dihydrate, Dehydrate.

Suggested Uses of Sodium Citrate
pH Adjuster
Balances the alkalinity to rapidly reduce the acidity of food and liquids.
Preservative & Food Additive
Food additive for flavour and to stop fruit and vegetables from browning
Laundry Products
Sodium Citrate is used as a builder in phosphate-free, heavy duty laundry products, hard surface cleaners, hand dishwashing products and automatic dishwashing products.
Antioxidant in food
An antioxidant in food as well as sequestrant, improving the quality and stability of food. It dissolves easily and acts instantaneously.
Emulsifying Agent
Emulsifier for oils in the cheesemaking process. Sodium citrate allows cheese to melt without becoming greasy.

30-day change-of-mind returns
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return on select unopened products in original packaging (excluding health/safety items or bulk purchases). Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return.
A restocking fee of 7–25% applies, plus return postage (unless approved otherwise). Customer-incurred postage costs are non-refundable without prior approval.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and the original packaging. Do not return items without a return authorisation.
Warranty
12-month Australian warranty on this product unless noted otherwise. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or modification.
- Damage during delivery (claim under shipping policy instead).
- Normal wear and tear.
To claim warranty: contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and a brief description. We will assess the claim and offer a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
