The Arlec Single Outlet Safety Switch is a plug-in adaptor designed to enhance safety in various environments, including bathrooms, kitchens, and home office workshops. This device features a built-in Residual Current Device (RCD) that continuously monitors the current flow between active and neutral wires. In the event of an imbalance, such as when a person comes into contact with a live part, the safety switch automatically disconnects the power supply. Rated for 230–240 volts and 10 amps, it also includes surge protection to safeguard connected equipment. This product complies with Australian and New Zealand safety standards.
