The remote employs high security code hopping radio technology, which generates a unique code from over 4 billion possibilities each time it is activated, preventing unauthorised access. With a normal operating range of 20 to 100 meters, the four-button design allows users to code multiple compatible garage door openers. This model is specifically designed to work with Merlin 230T/430R garage door openers manufactured after July 2001, as well as any openers that utilise the Merlin M832/M842/M844 remotes with green buttons.
