Melrose Organic Flaxseed Oil is cold-pressed from organically grown Australian flaxseeds. Flaxseed oil has one of the highest concentrations of plant-based omega-3 alpha linoleic acid (ALA) and is an excellent vegan alternative to fish oil. ALA is converted to EPA and DHA in the body, which are essential fatty acids required for optimum health.
Omega-3 essential fatty acids EPA and DHA are important for optimal health, yet they can be difficult to come by for those who don't eat fish and don't want to take a fish oil supplement. Many plant foods contain the omega-3 fatty acid ALA, which converts within the body to EPA and DHA, yet conversion can be low, so you need much more ALA to produce the same amount of EPA and DHA you may get from fish or supplements. Flaxseeds are one of the highest plant-based sources of omega-3, further concentrated by extracting the oil. Melrose Organic Flaxseed Oil is an excellent option for those avoiding fish to take in adequate omega-3 fat daily.

30-day change-of-mind returns
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return on select unopened products in original packaging (excluding health/safety items or bulk purchases). Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return.
A restocking fee of 7–25% applies, plus return postage (unless approved otherwise). Customer-incurred postage costs are non-refundable without prior approval.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and the original packaging. Do not return items without a return authorisation.
Warranty
12-month Australian warranty on this product unless noted otherwise. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or modification.
- Damage during delivery (claim under shipping policy instead).
- Normal wear and tear.
