It accommodates a 50mm gate post and can function as either a double or single-sided latch, with an option for padlocking. Constructed from UV-stabilised reinforced polymer, this latch offers exceptional strength and durability, suitable for the harsh conditions of Australia and New Zealand. The latch allows access from both sides of the gate and includes high-grade 316 stainless-steel components. G8Safe products are backed by a Lifetime Warranty and are designed to complement various ProtectorAl products, ensuring safety and reliability in your backyard.

Orders are dispatched from our Sydney and Melbourne warehouses within 1–2 business days of payment. Delivery times from Sydney:

Tracking is provided on dispatch. Remote postcodes may incur additional fees.
30-day change-of-mind returns
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return on select unopened products in original packaging (excluding health/safety items or bulk purchases). Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return.
A restocking fee of 7–25% applies, plus return postage (unless approved otherwise). Customer-incurred postage costs are non-refundable without prior approval.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and the original packaging. Do not return items without a return authorisation.
Warranty
12-month Australian warranty on this product unless noted otherwise. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or modification.
- Damage during delivery (claim under shipping policy instead).
- Normal wear and tear.
