Pryda Strap Brace Tensioner and Bolt 30 Box is designed for bracing applications where traditional timber braces are impractical due to thickness or bending limitations.
The Pryda Strap Brace is a flat steel bracing solution suitable for roofs, walls, ceilings, and floors. It is particularly effective in situations where timber braces cannot be used, such as with exposed beams or rafters. The tensioning process is straightforward, achieved by driving a hex-head screw or turning a wing nut, which significantly reduces on-site labour time as studs do not require notching. This allows for the use of smaller, more cost-effective unnotched studs. The product complies with Australian Standards AS7120.1-2010, AS/NZS1170, AS4055-2006, AS1684.2-2010, and AS1684.3-2010 when installed according to Pryda’s Design Guidelines.
