The RMC Pressure and Temperature Relief (P & T Relief) Valve is a critical safety device that prevents the temperature of water in a pressurised unvented water heater from exceeding 99° C in case of a failure in the thermostatic controls. This valve is essential for guarding against over-temperature and over-pressure hazards in unvented containers, complying with Australian Standard AS 3500-4. It is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installations and is individually tested and calibrated to ensure reliability. The valve is dezincification resistant, making it suitable for potable water applications, and is available in both 15mm and 20mm configurations.
