Sika Abelrod Gap Filler 6mm x 50m Polyethylene Foam Weather Resistant is a closed cell polyethylene foam rod designed for use as an expansion joint and space filler in various applications.
This product is highly resistant to weathering and common chemicals, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It meets the Australian Standard AS2170 for plastic materials intended for food contact. Sika Abelrod is ideal for filling joints in concrete and masonry substrates, including precast concrete panels, interior walls, and sealing skylights. Its excellent recovery properties allow it to withstand compression and expansion over time, ensuring a tight seal against dirt and water entry. Additionally, it can be used in swimming pools, draft proofing, dust sealing, and in truck and trailer construction.
