Sikkens 4l Cetol Hlse Timber Finish Dark Oak is an oil-based timber stain designed for the decoration and protection of timber surfaces.
This product is formulated with special air-drying alkyd resins and iron oxide pigments, providing a durable aesthetic finish. It penetrates deeply into timber, nourishing it while allowing it to breathe due to its microporous nature. The low film-build and highly translucent colours enhance the natural beauty of timber without concealing its texture. With good UV resistance and a satin finish, Sikkens Timber Finish Cetol HLSe requires simple periodic maintenance without the need for stripping. It serves as a stand-alone three-coat system suitable for timber decking, outdoor furniture, and cladding, and can also be used as a primer for other Sikkens timber applications.

30-day change-of-mind returns
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return on select unopened products in original packaging (excluding health/safety items or bulk purchases). Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return.
A restocking fee of 7–25% applies, plus return postage (unless approved otherwise). Customer-incurred postage costs are non-refundable without prior approval.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and the original packaging. Do not return items without a return authorisation.
Warranty
12-month Australian warranty on this product unless noted otherwise. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:

- Damage during delivery (claim under shipping policy instead).
- Normal wear and tear.
