Sikkens 4l Cetol Hlse Timber Finish Light Oak is an oil-based timber stain designed for the decoration and protection of timber surfaces.
This product is formulated with special air-drying alkyd resins and iron oxide pigments, providing a durable aesthetic finish that penetrates deeply into timber. It is microporous, allowing the timber to breathe while enhancing its natural beauty without concealing texture. The low film-build and highly translucent colours ensure good UV resistance with a satin finish. Sikkens Cetol HLSe is a stand-alone three-coat system suitable for timber decking, outdoor furniture, and cladding, and can also serve as a primer for other Sikkens timber applications. Maintenance is simple, requiring no stripping.

30-day change-of-mind returns
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return on select unopened products in original packaging (excluding health/safety items or bulk purchases). Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return.
A restocking fee of 7–25% applies, plus return postage (unless approved otherwise). Customer-incurred postage costs are non-refundable without prior approval.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and the original packaging. Do not return items without a return authorisation.
Warranty
12-month Australian warranty on this product unless noted otherwise. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or modification.
- Damage during delivery (claim under shipping policy instead).
- Normal wear and tear.
