The Simpson Strong-Tie® SDWS is a second-generation structural timber screw featuring a patented SawTooth™ Point that allows for faster starts, reduced torque, and eliminates the need for pre-drilling. This design enhances installation efficiency, making it 30% faster and 10% stronger than traditional batten screws. The screw's bold thread design ensures superior holding power, even in the end grain of timber. With a large washer-head for improved clamping and nibs for better control during installation, the SDWS is suitable for a range of applications including outdoor structures, deck frames, landscaping, and structural timber framing. It is finished with a double barrier coating, making it suitable for both interior and exterior use.

30-day change-of-mind returns
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return on select unopened products in original packaging (excluding health/safety items or bulk purchases). Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return.
A restocking fee of 7–25% applies, plus return postage (unless approved otherwise). Customer-incurred postage costs are non-refundable without prior approval.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives faulty or damaged, contact our support team with your order number, photos/videos of the fault, and the original packaging. Do not return items without a return authorisation.
Warranty
12-month Australian warranty on this product unless noted otherwise. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:

- Damage during delivery (claim under shipping policy instead).
- Normal wear and tear.
