This drill bit is crafted from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS), ensuring a robust combination of strength, heat, and wear resistance. The 118° standard point makes it suitable for general-purpose applications, while the blue surface finish is specifically designed for ferrous materials. The steam oxide finish helps prevent chip build-up on the cutting edges and reduces cutting friction, particularly in low carbon steels.
